Amy Holland Pennell fell in love with the spotlight at the age of two when she made her theatrical debut. As a child she spent many happy hours attending play rehearsals with her mother who is a choreographer. Amy’s passion for the Performing Arts intensified through her involvement in community theater and high school productions. She graduated Cum Laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication. The Saint Louis University College of Fine and Performing Arts honored Amy as the outstanding graduate for Performance and Academic Excellence. Her theatrical credits include: Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, Abigail in The Crucible, Marianne in Tartuffe, Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Mother Superior in Nunsense.

As Captain of the Saint Louis Rams Cheerleaders, Amy performed at Super Bowl XXXIV and was selected to represent the Rams in Honolulu, Hawaii as the 2004 Pro Bowl Cheerleader. Traveling the country as part of various USO tours, she has had the privilege of entertaining our American Troops. Amy was featured in Maxim Magazine as one of the NFL’s Hottest Cheerleaders and can be seen on EA SPORT’S Madden NFL 2005. Serving as an Ambassador to the city of Saint Louis, Amy has worked closely with many charities including the Make A Wish Foundation, Childrens’ Hospital, Ram’s Reader Team, Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, and Dress for Success. She was honored to serve as Mistress of Ceremonies for The Race For A Cure- Spinal Chord Research Benefit Dinner.

Amy has hosted many television shows on Fox Sports Net including The Saint Louis Sports Insider, Midwest Sports Report, and STL REAL starring Nelly, Marshall Faulk and Cedric the Entertainer. She also hosted the Rams Insider on the WB and Driving Force for the Speed Channel. Amy was a featured guest on The Best Damn Sports Show Period! and a celebrity guest on the Jenny Jones Show. She has had supporting roles in the feature films Confessions of a Pit Fighter and Steel City, which was selected for the Sundance Film Festival. Amy has acted in many short films, music videos, and was thrilled to be cast in the Saint Louis 48 Hour Film Festival winner, “The Article.” Her national commercial spots include: Anheuser Busch and The May Company. Amy has done voice-over/industrials for AVON, Dr. Pepper/7-Up, and Cadbury Schweppes. She can be seen in print for: Tanqueray, Payless Shoes Source, Jim’s Formal Wear, Dillards, Ed Hardy, Lindy’s Magazine and Player Magazine.
